FAQ

  • How long is the Drive test duration?
    According to VIC it is 45 minutes, it has of two parts. Part one will ask you to demonstrate reverse parking or 3 point turn. in part 2 you will drive car in higher speed and will doing some change line.
  • I'm 16 years old, can I get my Driver License in Victoria?
    Yes you can. you have to apply for learner permit test and you have to pass the test and have your learner permit and you have to drive at least 120 hours under experienced instructor.
  • Using your overseas driver licence or permit in Victoria.
    The type of licence or permit you'll get as well as the tests and appointments you'll need to take depend on: 1- Which country your licence or permit was issued? 2- How old you are ? 3- How long you've had your licence for (this doesn't include your learner permit)?
  • What restrictions are applied on learner drivers?
    When driving with a learner permit, you need to follow all road laws and rules. You also need to: 1- Carry your learner permit or receipt every time you drive. 2- Make sure your L plates can be seen, from at least 20 metres away, on the front and back of your vehicle. 3- Drive with a supervising driver who has a full and current licence. 4- Have a zero Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC) at all times when you drive Not use a mobile phone, hands free or any other hand-held device when driving Not tow a trailer, caravan or another vehicle.
  • How long do I need to have my Ls before I can go for my Ps?
    Before you can go for your Ps, you’ll need to have your learner permit for a minimum continuous period. The length of your ‘holding time’ is a licence requirement and will depend on your age.
